Alexander Schönberg
My name is Alexander Schönberg and I am living in Hamburg, Germany.
I came to photography in October 2015 based on a doctor’s recommendation, “just go for a walk”. An hour later, I had my first camera in my hands, it was a Sony A6000.
Through photography, I have the opportunity to capture my personal perspective on everyday scenes and objects, which makes the images more and more a medium of my communication with the world.
My first camera was a Sony and I was always happy with what I have, so I only use Sony equipment. When I take pictures of the street I only have a Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 or Sony 35mm f/1.8 lens with me.
When I do a portrait shoot outside or in the studio, it can happen that I take all the equipment with me. The less equipment you take with you, the more creative you have to be to get good results.
