Will any of these programs save the photo based on the capture date of the photo? I have so many backups and i just want to save the earliest date not based on when the file was moved, backed up, or copied date.

This is a long list, but unfortunately quite incomplete and the really best tool is missing in it.
If you ask a professional photographer as myself to recommend you a tool then it will be this:

I use that tool for more than 10 years and I guarantee that you will not find anything better. The tools above feel like child toys compared to it. It support Lightroom too.
Give it a try.

but I have not tested that one as VSDIF does all I need.

I agree that there’s a gap in the market for such a product to integrate well with LrC – hopefully Adobe will bring out something, but I won’t hold my breath!

Still looking for a Lightroom/Classic based duplicate finder that operaties on visual look of image (as many of your reviewed standalone products do) as will as on a customizable set of metadata. The problem is really significant when your catalog contains tens of thousands of images scanned from many generations of family members. The problem is that none of the metadata will match and the same image may appear from many different attics or basements and many with different crops.

The seond part I’m looking for is that the actual deletion occurs within LrC so that the catalog gets updated and doesn’t leave a bunch of now “missing” photos.

May I suggest you to have a look at Duplicate Media Finder software.
It is new software and obviously not yet known.
It certainly has its place in this 2021 review.

Can you use Gemini 2 to delete duplicate photos on android cell or do you have to do it on the latop?
If on the laptop how do you transfer all photos. Videos. Files from cell?

Once cleaned I want to copy all to disk for backup.
