Start with PSE for $100 and then pay $80 per year, compare to $120 per year for Photoshop + Lightroom. After 5 years, PSE is $500 and Photoshop + Lightroom is $600. You’ve saved $100. After 10 years, it’s $820 vs $1,200.

In reply to Terry Gerritsen. I'm sure it'll be a matter of time before it is compatible, Terry. The roll-out of software for the M1 chip has been slow but Adobe are catching up now.

Photoshop Elements 2021 is not compatible with Mac’s new M1 chip as Adobe has no update to support the M1 . My Question to you is your software compatible or is it the same only compatible to only intel?

I have a question which will no doubt annoy or amuse some readers here. In a side by side comparison,
will an image skilfully edited on Lightroom look, to the average individual, better than the same image
edited on Elements? Or will any differences need a trained eye to pick up.

I would love to see such a side by side comparison, perhaps using a portrait, a landscape, macro shot, etc.
