But the multiple mentions of needing a touchscreen on a camera which will be used under water or in adverse conditions is ridiculous and lazy.

I found the menu navigation easier than most cameras and utilization of c1 and c2 along with binding of custom picture control gives plenty of options for presets coming out of a point and shoot camera.

One thing that could make this camera (and every camera) easier to use is giving the d-pad mapable functions/presets similar to how fuji allows just about every button to be mapped to just about any function.
