Thanks. Despite the weight premium, I still have a soft spot for leather. I think the bags simply last long and get more character over time, rather than looking old. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you order.

I was looking into this bag since it came out and saw you posted its review like probably day one and I was so happy to see the review about this bag with nice clear photos. You probably the only person to have this leather lightning rider reviewed with such detail and probably still the only one. as you said ” The quality and construction on the black leather is heavier weight comes in at 1.2 kgs. The weight difference isn’t huge, but it’s still a 20% premium over nylon bags. ”
I really love the black leather. I just like to let you know you are still the only place I keep looking back and forward to see for the photos but still have to do the order soon.
Thanks
PS. if you have more photos would love to see more thank you.

Hi Josh. Sorry for the delay, my comment notifications seem to be problematic at the moment. Yes, it will work in compact form. You could fit something like an A7 in this way. I often carry my X100 this was which is only marginally smaller than an a7 with small prime.

Would you be able to fit an a7 series body with a small prime, e.g. FE35, FE85 with the bag collapsed?
Many thanks.
