Yeah, I agree – the Zeiss ‘pop’ is highly subjective. Maybe if you compare side by side you’ll see something, but you’ll be the only person doing that :p

And yes i’m on the fence about getting the Zeiss 24mm or this one, the price difference of a used zeiss is cheaper than the samyang, but it lacks so much feature that this new lens offers, and this covers a fullframe image circle with almost the same weight, 0.25x vs 0.22x magnification, It’s getting harder to justify the Zeiss now unless you do a side by side, and see what the zeiss color and ‘pop’ is really about
