It is a great lens with great sharpness for that price. The only downside is not IS, but mounted to my R5 gives some IBIS and I have never been happier. A little heavy, but not a problem for me. I would have loved the RF 28-70 F2 but for 3k I would rather have some sigma 1.4 art primes and now we are starting to see them used for a good price..

I recently purchased the Tamron 24-70 f2.8 USD G2. Fantastic lens! It now lives on my D780.
A great purchase that is an all round workhorse, that covers most bases, and wide open has good bokeh too.
I would definately recommend this.
