(Matched by the cannon but not sure if Cannon has IBIS)

The cheapest Sony option seems to be the A6400, probably better suited for those who can stretch their budget or want better lens options.

The panasonic GX85 costs as much as the Sony A6400 but comes with the best kit lens option (12-60). Probably recommended for those who are unlikely to buy a new lens.

The Olympus 75mm f1.8 lens is a great addition to the panasonic/olympus cameras but it costs more than the panasonic with kit lens option. Sigma 56mm f1.4 costs as much as olympus with kit lens option & is a decent alternative for those who want an option better than kit lens.

The pixel phone by google is another budget option here. Cheaper than the olympus camera.

Considering buying a camera for some still pre wedding shots. Getting a photographer with covid is becoming a nightmare. We are trying to find a camera that we could take our few shots but use on vacations and prob take videos as brand new to photography. We travel often and would consider durability a high point with ease of use as well. I am attempting to buy a camera at an entry level 500$ area. What would you recommend as your top few options. Is DSLR a huge bonus. I think were more point and shoot with some small edit options but might grow interest faster. Thoughts? Thanks for advice ..
Drew
